LEAF COLLECTION

The Township provides a weekly leaf collection at assigned times throughout the year, one in the fall and one in the spring.  This service is currently being provided free of cost to Township residents for the leaves accumulated on their property during these seasons.  Leaves should be placed in long, narrow piles at a maximum of 3 to 4 feet wide.  They should be placed in the street along the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the assigned pick-up day, see map below.  If there is no curb, please place them as close as possible to the roadway.

SPRING
March 26 - April 5
Leaf Collection Map
Monday - Residents residing north of Route 422 & south of Route 422, east of South Forge Road
Wednesday - Residents residing south of Route 422, between South Forge Road & Campbelltown Road
FALL
October 15 - December 7
Friday - Residents residing south of Route 422, west of Campbelltown Road

Crews will not pick up leaves that have been placed in bags or placed under a tarp.  Leaves are not to be commingled with any other debris such as grass, branches, stones, plants, flowers and other garden residue.  These items may injure crew members or damage equipment upon collection.  Please do not pile leaves within 15 feet of an intersection or parked car and do not place them under a basketball net.  The leaves will not be picked up because the equipment cannot work in such a confined space.

Due to high traffic volumes, this service can not be conducted on Gravel Hill Road, Route 422 or South Forge Road from Park Drive south to the Township line.

Please be aware:  If the crew is not able to complete their route in the allotted day, due to time or weather, they will reconvene at their stopping point the next available day.  All service is conducted weather permitting.
